Patna: Atul Raghav, an international Taekwondo player from Ghaziabad, has been selected for the World Taekwondo Partnership Program 2024 in Taekwondowon, Muju, Korea where 200 participants around the world will participate in this partnership program. This program will be conducted from 1st -10th September 2024 this year.
Raghav will be representing India at the World Taekwondo Partnership Program- a global education program conducted by World Taekwondo where he along with other participants will get an opportunity to sharpen their skills in advanced Kyorugi (sparring) and Poomsae (Moving techniques in taekwondo sports) from World famous instructor.
Apart from the training, the program will also facilitate an opportunity for its participants to explore Korea’s vast cultural diversity through which taekwondo’s origin is directly rooted in Korean culture.
Speaking to Krida News Editor Ujjawal Kr. Sinha and Sub-Editor Lovely Singh, an international Taekwondo player, Atul Raghav said, “I am delighted to be part of this prestigious taekwondo program which is going to be conducted in Korea. He further said, “I am happy and feel privileged that I have been selected and will become part of this event, where I could gain experience from well-versed participants who will be coming from all around the world.
Atul Raghavan was born in Bulandshahar on 24 September 2004 but had to shift to Ghaziabad with his whole family for quality education. He debuted his career at school level only at the age of 10 years. Further, he also bagged a gold medal in the CISEC National Games held in Ahmedabad in 2018. However, Raghav gained attention and came into the limelight after performing outstanding and winning a bronze medal in the World Taekwondo Championship held in Dubai in 2020.
Presently, Atul Raghavan has been appointed as the brand ambassador of Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
