Pushkar Sharma Shines for Ruaraka with Century Against Stray Lions in NPCA Super Div 2024

On June 30, 2024, cricket fans witnessed an exhilarating match in the NPCA Super Div League 2024 between Stray Lions A and Ruaraka Sports Club A. Stray Lions A, having won the toss, decided to bowl first, setting the stage for an explosive display of batting prowess by Ruaraka Sports Club A.

Ruaraka Sports Club A took full advantage of the opportunity to bat first, putting up a massive total of 401 runs in their allotted 50 overs. Pushkar Sharma was the star of the innings, scoring a magnificent 135 runs off just 93 balls, adorned with 11 boundaries and 5 towering sixes. His partnership with Nitish Hirani was a highlight, as they added 175 runs together. Nitish played a solid innings, contributing 64 runs before being dismissed.

Following the stellar partnership, Indian professional Gautam Waghela and Viraj Jadhav took charge. Gautam scored a brisk 76 runs, while Viraj added a valuable 46 runs to the total, ensuring Ruaraka Sports Club A set a daunting target for Stray Lions A. Despite the high score, Francis Mutua from Stray Lions A managed to shine with the ball, taking an impressive 7 wickets in his 9 overs.

In response, Stray Lions A struggled to find their footing. They were bowled out for a mere 127 runs in 19.4 overs. Neil Mugabe provided a lone spark of resistance with a commendable 53 runs. However, the combined bowling attack of Ruaraka Sports Club A proved too formidable. Indian pro Prasad Abhanyakar took 2 wickets, while Pushkar Sharma added to his all-round performance with a wicket. Nitish Hirani capped off his excellent day by taking 4 crucial wickets.

The match concluded with Ruaraka Sports Club A securing a comprehensive victory. Pushkar Sharma was rightfully named Man of the Match for his exceptional century and crucial wicket, highlighting his all-round capabilities and sealing a memorable win for his team.

पटना, 23 नवंबर। ओपन माइंड ए बिरला स्कूल, दानापुर में आयोजित रंगारंग वार्षिकोत्सव के दौरान खेल के क्षेत्र में स्कूल का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हुए पदक जीतने वाले खिलाड़ियों को सम्मानित किया गया। सम्मानित होने वाले खिलाड़ियों ने सीबीएसई कलस्टर प्रतियोगिताओं में पदक जीते हैं।

सम्मानित होने वालों में पटना जिला जिम्नास्टिक प्रतियोगिता में रजत पदक जीतने वाले जायद अंजार (कक्षा 3 सी), कांस्य पदक जीतने वाले अथराब वरेनयम (1 सी) और आरुष शर्मा (कक्षा 4 बी) ने शामिल हैं।

इसके अलावा गिरिडीह में आयोजित सीबीएसई जूडो चैंपियनशिप में पदक जीतने वाली अराध्या शर्मा, सोहन कुमार और श्वेतांक, श्रेया सिंह, अमित कुमार, साव्या राय, काव्या सिंह और रणवीर कुमार को अतिथियों से सम्मानित कर मनोबल बढ़ाया।

समारोह का उद्घाटन पटना विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति अजय कुमार सिंह, बिहार प्लेयर्स एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्षमृत्युंजय तिवारी और स्कूल के निदेशक अमन कुमार ने दीप प्रज्ज्वलित और गुब्बारा उड़ा कर किया। सबों का स्वागत बुके, शॉल और मोमेंटो समर्पित कर स्कूल के प्राचार्य पलजिंदर पाल सिंह ने किया।

समारोह की शुरुआत छात्र व छात्राओं के स्वागत गान से हुआ। इसके बाद हॉकी के जादूगर मेजर ध्यानचंद जी और भारत के महान एथलीट मिल्खा सिंह की जीवनी पर आधारित कार्यक्रम को प्रस्तुत किया गया। साथ ही हॉकी को लेकर कई कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत स्कूली बच्चों से सबों का मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया।

छात्र-छात्राओं ने एकल नृत्य और सामूहिक नृत्य करके दर्शकों का मन लुभाया। कई छात्र – छात्राओं ने ड्रामा, नाटक प्रस्तुत करके समाज के लोगों को जागरूक किया। अनोखा भारत थीम पर आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में पर्यावरण, हिंदू मुस्लिम एकता, देशभक्तों की वीरता, बेटी बचाओ बेटी पढ़ाओ जैसे संदेश संगीत और नाटक के माध्यम से छात्र-छात्राओं, छोटे छोटे बच्चों ने दिया। बच्चों ने योगा और जिम्नास्टिक के परफॉरमेंस को दिखा कर कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित सबों को तालियां बजाने पर मजबूर कर दिया।

Delhi Capitals Cricket Academy Partners with Saj Mahmood to Launch Cricket Academies in the UK

New Delhi: In a historic move, Delhi Capitals Cricket Academy has announced a landmark partnership with former England cricketer Sajid Mahmood to launch two cricket academies in the United Kingdom. The academies will be established at Farringtons School and William Perkin CofE High School under the banner of Delhi Capitals Saj Mahmood Cricket Academy.

This partnership marks the first of its kind for an Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, as it joins forces with an international cricketer to expand its footprint and focus on nurturing young talent. The aim of the collaboration is to identify and develop emerging players, helping them hone their cricketing skills and reach their full potential.

Delhi Capitals CEO, Sunil Gupta, expressed his enthusiasm for the venture, stating, “We are extremely excited to expand the Delhi Capitals footprint to the UK with this partnership with Saj and his academy. At Delhi Capitals, it is our aim to give budding cricketers the best possible platform and opportunities to help realise their dream of playing professional cricket at the highest level. We truly look forward to this innings.”

Sajid Mahmood, the Owner and Head Coach of the academy, welcomed the collaboration, saying, “We are thankful to Delhi Capitals for joining hands with us, and we look forward to creating a big talent pool. With the support of ECB-certified coaching staff, we will ensure that our trainees receive top-notch training. This partnership is a ground-breaking move, marking the first ever IPL franchise launching two academies together. Delhi, welcome to London!”

Pratik Puri, Head of Cricket Academies at Delhi Capitals, highlighted the significance of this partnership, noting, “This is the only occasion when an ex-international cricketer has partnered with an IPL franchise, which speaks volumes about the grassroots development that our franchise is doing. Producing more than 50 state-level players and several IPL and Ranji players is a testament to the work we are doing. We aim to create a global talent pool that will benefit the franchise in the long run.”

The Delhi Capitals Saj Mahmood Cricket Academy will hold its first trial session on November 24, 2024, with the inaugural coaching session set for January 12, 2025.

This initiative signals Delhi Capitals’ continued commitment to the growth of cricket and player development on an international scale, strengthening the franchise’s position as a leading force in shaping the future of cricket worldwide.

पटना: पटना जिला टेनिस क्रिकेट लीग का आयोजन 22 नवंबर से 24 नवंबर 2024 तक पटना काॅलेजियट उच्च विद्यालय, Daryapur, पटना में किया जाएगा। यह टूर्नामेंट बिहार राज्य टेनिस क्रिकेट संघ(TCAB) के सहयोग से और पटना जिला टेनिस क्रिकेट संघ के तत्वावधान में आयोजित किया जाएगा।

पुरस्कारों की होगी झड़ी
टूर्नामेंट के विजेता और उपविजेता टीम को ट्रॉफी प्रदान की जाएगी। इसके अलावा, हर मैच के ‘मैन ऑफ द मैच’ को मोमेंटो दिया जाएगा। पूरे टूर्नामेंट में सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन करने वाले खिलाड़ी को ‘मैन ऑफ द सीरीज’ का पुरस्कार मिलेगा, जबकि सर्वश्रेष्ठ बल्लेबाज और गेंदबाज को भी मोमेंटो से सम्मानित किया जाएगा।

कूच बिहार: पहली पारी में झारखंड हुआ ऑल आउट, अदित्या का पंजा, दूसरी पारी में बिहार के पाँच विकेट गिरे

पटना: स्थानीय मोइनुल हक स्टेडियम में कूच बिहार ट्रॉफी के मैच में बिहार की पहली पारी के 154 रन के जवाब में 189 रन बनाकर ऑल आउट हो गई। झारखंड को पहली पारी में 35 रन का लीड हासिल हुआ। दूसरे दिन का खेल समाप्त होने तक बिहार की टीम दूसरी पारी में पाँच विकेट के नुकसान पर 80 रन बनाकर खेल रही है।

झारखंड की टीम पहले दिन के स्कोर दो विकेट पर 56 रन से आगे खेलना शुरू किया और अदित्या राज के पंजे में फंस कर 189 रन पर ऑल आउट हो गई। झारखंड की ओर से बल्लेबाजी करते हुए बिसेश दत्ता 1 रन, कृष शर्मा 74 रन, विवेक कुमार 26 रन, सेंटू यादव 40 रन, रायन सापकोटा, रोहित, तनिश, वत्शल और गौरव शून्य पर तथा आयुष कुमार 33 रन बनाकर आउट हो गया जबकि ईशान ओम 8 रन बनाकर नाबाद रहे। बिहार की ओर से अदित्या राज 5 विकेट, सत्यम कुमार ने 2 विकेट, सुमन कुमार और आरव झा ने एक एक विकेट लिए।

दूसरी पारी में बिहार की ओर से बल्लेबाजी करते हुए आयुष राज 13 रन, अनुभव सिंह 17 रन, तौफीक 5 रन, मो आलम शून्य तथा पृथ्वी राज 13 रन बनाकर आउट हुए। दूसरे दिन का खेल समाप्त होने के बिहार दीपेश गुप्ता 20 रन तथा गौतम कुमार 3 रन बनाकर क्रीज़ पर नाबाद है। झारखंड की ओर से ईशान ओम ने 4 विकेट और तनिश ने एक विकेट लिए।
