Currently, over a dozen Delhi Capitals Cricket Academies operate in key regions including Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and internationally in the United Kingdom and Canada. These academies train thousands of young cricketers aged 6 to 18, providing access to professional-level coaching, top-tier infrastructure, and support systems that mirror elite setups.
What sets these academies apart is their all-round development model. Along with cricketing techniques, young athletes are taught fitness, nutrition, mental strength, and life skills — a framework designed to produce not just skilled players, but confident and well-prepared individuals.

Leading this transformation is Pratik Puri, who took over as Head of Academies in late 2023. A former national-level cricketer and BCCI-certified coach, Puri brings a unique mix of grassroots knowledge and strategic vision.
Under his leadership, Delhi Capitals has expanded its academy footprint, introduced data-driven standardized curriculums, and launched its first international academy — complete with performance tracking tools, scholarship opportunities, and guidance from senior IPL coaches.
“Pratik has brought a systematic, future-focused approach to the program. He’s not just managing academies; he’s changing how cricket education operates in India,” said a Delhi Capitals official.
